40th Anniversary Exhibitions
A generous gift from an anonymous benefactor made possible a series of dedicated exhibitions exploring Francis Brett Young’s life and works to mark the Society’s 40th birthday. The first five exhibitions have already taken place in Hales Owen, Bewdley, Worcester Cathedral (which included a dedicated evensong and laying of a wreath at the Brett Young memorial) and Elan Valley Visitors’ Centre. From July 8th – August 4th 2019 the exhibition was in Pershore Abbey and throughout September 2019 will be in Tewkesbury Abbey, before moving to Dudley Archives in April 2020.
